Protecting Tomorrow hosts many events throughout the year. At these events, we promote awareness to the dangers that are lurking in the cyber world. Protecting Tomorrow’s events help educate and protect women on-line, small and medium size businesses, and parents protect their children on-line. Our goal is to spread our message to the individuals of the San Diego cyber security community. All individuals with and interest in business and technology are welcome to attend.

All new and existing government contractors will need to upgrade their information systems to abide by the new NIST 800-171. NIST 800-171 applies to Controlled Unclassified Information shared by the federal government with a nonfederal entity.
This mandatory compliance with NIST SP-800-171 will be enacted starting January 1, 2018. If you are not compliant with the NIST SP-800-171 by December 31st, your contracting office WILL NOT renew your contracts for 2018.
This timeline is only 28 weeks away. Significant work is required to bring you compliant and we can start now.
Join New Horizons, Alamom Consulting and LP3 SecurIT as we deep dive into these new requirements, how to approach these changes and develop a plan of action how to stay compliant.
